"DIE KINDERVILLA" is a private independent educational establishment for children aged 1 – 6 years.

We run a total of 7 groups, 3 crèches and 4 kindergarten / preschool groups, currently offering premium, high – quality child care for more than 120 families. A major factor is the manageability of our groups. Our small groups are led by a certified kindergarten teacher supported by an assistant.

The Kindervilla was established in 1999 and since then has been offering attractive and tailor - made child care, especially for working parents and their children. Our home is located in two representative villas built at the turn of the century, which simultaneously convey a feeling of freedom and comfort within their generously proportioned rooms.

We are dedicated to the task of accompanying children in their development as individuals and encouraging their talents. Our staff is constantly aware of the great responsibility they have.
The main emphasize of our work, characteristic of the Kindervilla, focuses on language assistance and communication and should not be misunderstood as a mere "learning of a language". It is the basic educational tenor of our work and an integral educational concept providing an early contribution to inclusion and intercultural exchange.

In all we do we put the individuality of the child first. This is achieved by allowing the child´s character, personality and talents to develop in the best possible way and by promoting the child´s social competence.

Within the educational plan for kindergarten we place particular emphasis on the following:  Emotions and social interaction, Speech and communication, Nature and technology, Exercise and health, Musical development, Aesthetics and health, Mathematical, logical thinking, Ethics and society.

One of the Kindervilla´s principle criteria is to encourage the children's linguistic and communicative skills. We hereby differentiate between the maintenance of these skills and the acquisition of new ones. A good command of the first language is the best way to ensure confidence in a second or foreign language. This approach is already being used in the crèche and is continued in the kindergarten / preschool groups, where German is the main language accompanied by a foreign language. A German speaking kindergarten teacher is in charge of the group and is supported by a native speaking assistant. Equal emphasis is placed on both German and the respective foreign language (English, French and Italian). In addition we also run a purely English speaking kindergarten / preschool group. In the crèche this model also includes the languages Turkish, Serbian, Croatian and Bosnian, hereby taking into account the needs of children with a migration background. We have bilingual assistants for these children. The contribution to the concept of inclusion recognises the child´s family and cultural background, encouraging diversity and cultivating mutual empathy.
